Try Master of Whispers with [wiki]Spoil Victor[/wiki], this skill makes him a breeze.

Skills that blind, interupt and knockdown annoy the hell out of him. Another trick is to use default attacks with NO + Bonus when he hits impossible odds. He deflects/returns the damage dealt him so hit easy til its gone. Poisons, hexs, and form of dot helps also. I set up Zenmai with blins, cripples etc and beat him using heroes and henchies. Remember he cannot banish heroes.For grins and giggles I go in with koss and goren, equipped with hammers, stonefist gauntlets and devona as well and watch him bounce between them, as they interupt and knock him around . LOL It's not useful to win just fun when you're bored.

Never use conditions on Shiro as he simply passes them back to you during Impossible Odds. The best way to handle shiro is to load up on hexes that cause him to miss and to carry stances and enchantments that allow you to block. I also recommend blurred vision as it is a nice hex based blind.
Consider adding some of the following into your build:
ranger hench OR real ranger with dragon skill (used during impossible odds)
blurred vision
aegis
reckless haste
spirit of failure
price of failure
critical defenses with wild blow
distortion
whirling defense
gladiators defense
guardian
shield guardian
...also spoil victor is a helpful kill skill as is the elite skill 'echo' when used by an ele with the dragon skill.

To take him out fast you need 2 necromancers and alot of bodies to surround him, it does not matter if the necros are heroes or real people. Necromancer #1 = Spoil Victor, Necromancer #2 = SS + Insideous Parasite. Give him plenty of targets to hit (melee range attackers surrounding him) and watch him literally rip himself to pieces in seconds. I have beaten Shiro in like 1:05 doing that with henchies. Thats also how I handed Varesh her own butt on a plate as well. Pretty hilarious when a melee boss does not have hex removal vs Necros.

I did it with a LoD Dunkoro, an RC Prot tahlkora and an SS master of whispers and a random selection of henchmen (on my Warrior). I completed it in about 3 or 4 minutes.

...and shiro *does* have hex removal, which is why its nice to have a lot of hexes. Impossible odds will remove a hex, and all bosses enjoy half length hexes (one reason why wastrel's worry is very effective on most bosses), so don't just bring a handful of them and expect them to stay on.

Well I was speaking more in general that it is funny when a boss does not have hex removal. That said the hexes I listed are very very easy to re-apply and keep on without a break, resulting in him destroying himself in seconds.

I was on ele using echo celestial storm/meteor shower

I did this with all my hero slots and 4 henchies in 2:15. My setup as follows
Me=SS Insidiuos,Desecrate (echo this one)
Koss=Wild Blow
Souske(sp)=Echo Nuker
Masters=Fleshie MM disable all other minnions or dont equip the skill period
Lukas=
Devona=
Protector Karl=
Sister Tai=
Be certain to take your skill provided and drop it right away. When the fleshi dies Masters gets his corpse for a new one. Your skill recharges after you beat one of Shiros Assassins or Warriors that appear and dont fret about banish cause he will only banish a henchie. Throw the SS on him right away and keep spammin it as you can. He goes into full blown fightin mode I was seeing 12x47 damage back to back to back. I will do it again and get a screen for ya to see. FLIPPIN PWNAGE!!

if you're an ele primary, you can also go as a E/Me. Get Echo, Arcane Echo, and the Celestial Storm. Arcane Echo -> Echo -> Celestial Storm -> Echo -> Celestial Storm -> Celestial Storm. By the time those 3 are done, the construct from the banished teammate should be dead so then use all 3 celestials again. 6 celestials on Shiro should take him out.

I must admit that Shiro is harder to defeat in Elona then in Cantha. And it's Cantha we're currently talking about (-;
Oh, and I noticed that if you go in with heroes/henchies that you'll get banned regularly. Make sure that you place your heroes/henchies in a fixed position when you start the battle, that way you can be sure that, IF you get banished, your heroes will still attack Shiro.
And yes, Spoil Victor necro, SS necro with reckless haste, a disrupting mesmer and a nuking Ele (to nuke the stance when Shiro's health <50%) are a near must-have.
Best of luck (=

I must admit that lately, I have had MORE trouble defeating Shiro in cantha than in Realm of Torment. The meditation of the reaper and banishment wossname allow the bastard to break the tempo, recover life and generally rpolong his existence...
